How to check up references in the Help

After creation of the Help or Help collection, you can check up work of hyper references. If you try it to make it manually, clicking under each reference you become tired very fast and, most likely will miss something. I use FAR HTML for checking urls in Help (Chm or Hxs). FrontPage can be used for check of references in html pages. Among free-of-charge tools it is possible to note the program CheckHelpLinks.

The program has also an opportunity of start with parameters

-f / -fast : select fast mode

-s / -slow : select slow mode

-o / -open : open most recently used chm

-o:»C:\path\xxx.chm» : open specified chm

-w / -work : check file

-x / -export : export reports to default folder

-x:»C:\path\folder» : export to specified folder

-c / -close : close app

Example of start of the program for check of the documentation OneClickHelp:

D:\NETProjects\1ch\1ch\bin\CheckHelpLinks.exe -o:D:\NETProjects\1ch\1ch\Help\1chDoc\1ch-ru\1ch-ru.chm -f -w
